New team leader Evidence-informed zone


Meet Nico Boot

As of January 1, 2021, Nico Boot, who works as a lecturer and coach at Leiden University of Applied Sciences,will be the new leader of the Evidence-informed zone. Nico succeeds Fleur Prinsen of theRotterdam University of Applied Sciences and with his leadership position, Leiden University of Applied Sciences also officially joins the zone.

Nico studied Medical Biology at the VU, did his PhD research at the UU and has been working at Leiden University of Applied Sciences since 2008. Nico is a Digitization Consultant at the Faculty of Science & Technology. With his arrival, the Acceleration Plan will have a leader with extensive experience in higher education and under his leadership the Evidence-informed zone will have a team leader with extensive experience as a teacher. Nico’s challenge is to further put into practice the plans, studies and activities that the zone has created over the past two years.

Fleur Prinsen will continue to participate in the zone on behalf of Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences. We thank Fleur for her efforts as captain over the past two years and we are pleased that she continues to strengthen the team in the zone with her knowledge and expertise. We wish Nico and the team of the zone a lot of success this year!
